High and Mighty

I arise and go forth into the Dawn of a New Day, filled with faith and assurance in the All Good. I arise; I arise and sing with joy!
Ernest Holmes, The Science of Mind

There used to be an expression intended to “keep us in our place.” Someone would say, “Don’t be so high and mighty.” Ironically, the truth is that you are high and mighty. The Spirit of the Living God is within you. When you get beneath the surface—beneath all the shame, blame and guilt that has been weighing you down, there is a radiant light and love that is so pure and true within you.

Our divine purpose on the planet is to remove all the obstacles to being love…to being all that we came here to be. It has nothing to do with the self-aggrandizement of the ego. The bragging and boasting of the ego is most often magnified in one who is unsure of his or her own value and worth, rather than in one who knows the truth and has a sense of self-love and self-acceptance.

It doesn’t matter what you’ve been through or the mistakes you’ve made in the past. The most important thing is for you to forgive yourself about anything and everything that has happened. Today is a new day, a day to decide that you matter, that you are willing to see yourself as worthy and good. Think a new thought, “God created me to live in a high vibration of well being. I am love! I am light! My needs are met fully!”

Surprise upon surprise—now I recognize myself and see myself as God sees me. I AM HIGH AND MIGHTY!

Affirmation
I see the truth. I am light! I am love! I am high and mighty!
